Gifsicle is a command-line tool for creating, editing, and getting information about GIF images and animations. Making a GIF animation with gifsicle is easy

Here you’ll learn how to use the GAP, GIMP animation package. It is very advanced, but the user interface might be confusing for some at first. That’s why we’ll start with a little theory before we move over to the practical part.

The key function of the GAP is the move path dialog. Please go to the “Using GAP” tutorial to learn more about the tool.

If you have made the images you can also use ImageMagick to make the GIF. It’s a command line program but very powerful. Imagemagick is in the Software Centre.

You can create 3D objects or lettering with Libre Office and also GIF animations.
